Billyat is a great fan of active worlds. I host the world Mobeus which is one of more than 700 worlds available in the universe Active Worlds. I have upgraded the world for "tourist" entry, so you can visit Mobeus without becoming a citizen of Active worlds (7.95/mo or 69.95/yr). See the mobeus strips, klein bottles, kalidascopes sailboats, planes and cars that you can ride and all sorts of other goodies do funny things.

What's a Yat?
A Yat was originally defined as a resident of the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans Louisiana. It has since been generalized to mean people with attitudes, dialects and cuisine indigineous to the greater New Orleans area. Yat is the dominant dialect in this area and closely resembles brooklinese. I get really pissed with every Hollywood flick about New Orleans in which the accents are either generic southern or Cajun (only 3% of NO population is cajun).

No, he hasn't croaked, but he got pissed off at the increase in price for Active Worlds citizenship and hasn't visited it much. So now I am the sole owner of Mobeus. Before he left he added wonderous Kalidascopes to Mobeus. My new Time Warner cable broadband (10Mb/s ) is great but its dynamic IP won't let me host it myself, so Active World citizen talian is hosting it for me. Stay tuned for the latest info on Mobeus and AW!

So What is a Klein Bottle?
Or a mobeus strip for that matter? These are topological oddities that have only one side: mathematicians say they are unorientable. A mobeus strip is made by taking a longish strip of paper, giving it a half twist and pasting the short ends together. A Klein bottle is a closed (unbounded) surface that has only one side. It can't be represented in 3 dimensions without intersecting itself -- but it can't exist in 4 dimensions.
